![]() It makes more sense to think the thin man is trying to stay the thin man. If the thinman is mono than he’s not doing what he’s doing to save himself. Less assumptions are made when say mono becomes the new thin man.Ī lot of people say things like “mono was trying to stop six so she wouldn’t betray mono” but if that’s the case then why did he turn her into a monster? All that did was give mono a reason to go to the tower and get betrayed. ![]() If the time loop is real than the eye would want a time loop to ensure that mono becomes the thinman every time. If you find a flaw in this please tell me, as I am a fuckin idiot so I wouldn't be surprised if some of my stupidity leaked in while typing this. The person who breaks the time loop could perhaps have similar powers to Mono, and it does seem as if Six absorbed some of his power to leave the tower so perhaps she may be able to pull through yet, if this series does get a third installment. Then possibly he attacked Mono to try and kill himself by proxy and prevent the signal tower from ever causing any harm. I thought I'd also propose that maybe he only grabbed Six for revenge, being obviously pissed having plenty of time to mull over it in that chair. Don't think in that case it would be Six, judging by the fact she seems to have fully succumbed to her dark side at the end of LN, but still someone could break the cycle none the less. Then it's possible someone could break the cycle, free Mono from the towers control as Mono freed Six. The way I see it only Mono is in the time loop, Six just continues on as per normal, leading to the events of LN. I can think of a way they can beat the tower with the time loop. But it would take insane plot armour for these kids to beat a sentient tower that transcends time. ![]() Of course it’s entirely possible that the tower isn’t meant to be beaten, in which case, the time loop theory is probably correct. It’s kinda hinted that the tower can be defeated if the signal man is gone. Maybe it’s possible for mono to change back in the same way. The game showed us the six was able turn from back to normal her monster form. The only way I see them beating the tower is if little nightmares isn’t a time loop. The time loop seems to affect everything, not just mono, but the entire world, and all the monsters if it’s correct (this is because the thin man is responsible for a lot of the monsters). A lot of people are making the pretty big assumption that six can just somehow break the time loop. ![]() Like I said before, If the time loop theory is correct then the tower is unbeatable cause it seems to be the only thing aware of the time loop. This is what brought him to the tower in the first place. All the thin man did was bring her to the tower where she was turned into a monster. Some people like SuperHorrorBros thinks that the thin man is trying to kill six to stop her from dropping mono and creating the thin man but that doesn’t make sense either. If this is the case, the tower is unbeatable because it seems to be the only thing aware of this time loop. If it is a time loop, then the only thing that makes sense is that the tower/thin man planned the majority of the events in little nightmares 2 to ensure mono becomes the signal man again. I get that mono has very similar powers to the thin man but that doesn’t necessarily mean he was the thin man all along. First of all, time travel kind of came out of nowhere and it just seems like a pretty big assumption. IMO in makes more sense that mono is a successor to the thin man. ![]() I think it’s very possible that little nightmares is not a time loop. ![]()
